GTA’s Assistant President for Tax Affairs Ghanim bin Khalifa Al Attiyah and Head of Economic and Cyber Crimes Department of the Ministry of Interior Colonel Ali Hassan Al Kubaisi during the signing of memorandum of cooperation.
Doha: The General Tax Authority (GTA) signed yesterday a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of interior, represented by the Economic and Cyber Crimes Department, on combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
The memorandum was signed by GTA’s Assistant President for Tax Affairs Ghanim bin Khalifa Al Attiyah and Head of Economic and Cyber Crimes Department of the Ministry of Interior Colonel Ali Hassan Al Kubaisi.
This agreement aims to strengthen coordination, cooperation and information exchange between the two organizations, on combating money laundering, terrorism financing, tax evasion and financial crimes in general.
