Doha: The Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem checked yesterday on Saqr 21 military exercise, which is carried out by the Amiri Air Force.
His Excellency communicated with all the air bases participating in the exercise using video conference, to stand on the latest developments of the exercise.
He also listened to a briefing by acting director of operations and training Brigadier General (Pilot) Saad Shaheen Al Sarea Al Kaabi, who is also head of the Saqr 21 evaluation team, deputy head of the Saqr 21 evaluation team Brigadier General Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Zaman, and by acting commander of fighter aircrafts Brigadier General Khalid Nasser Hazaa Al Shahwani.
Saqr 21 is divided into two sections, the first is Command Battle Simulations (CBX), and the second is IFX. It takes place from April 23-30 with participation from US Air Force, Turkish forces, the Ministry of Interior, Coast Guard, Amiri Naval Force, and Joint Special Force.
