Nur-Sultan: Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H E Askar Mamin met Saturday with Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, on the sidelines of the 5th Qatari and Kazakh High-Level Joint Committee, which concluded its meetings in Nur-Sultan. The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and facets of bilateral cooperation in the commerce, investment, and industrial fields. The two sides also discussed means to enhance ties.
H E the Minister of Commerce and Industry also met separately with Minister of National Economy of Republic of Kazakhstan, H E Ruslan Dalenov, Governor of Astana International Financial Centre, H E Dr. Kairat Kelimbetov, Minister of Trade and Integration, H E Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, H E Beibut Atamkulov.
The meetings dealt with reviewing bilateral cooperation, reviewing developments of the Qatari economy in recent years, investment opportunities in all fields, investment incentives and legislations adopted by the State which included a law regulating foreign investment in the economy, in addition to the initiatives launched to support the private sector and increase foreign direct investment.
