The QSF conducted a number of local events to promote squash talent in Qatar and the Ramadan tournament is one of the them.
“The local tournaments serve as a good exposure for the youngsters to test their skills and get the much needed exposure,” said Gamal Rasmi, Technical Secretary at QSF.
The QSF is expecting a large number of participants to take part in the tournament.
“We had good number of players taking part in the InterContinental Squash tournament and the Ramada-Olympic Sports event and we are hopeful the trend will continue,” added Rasmi.
The QSF earlier had hosted twin tournaments- InterContinental Squash and the Ramada-Olympic Sports.
