Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player Edinson Cavani signs an autograph for a fan before a friendly match in Hong Kong on Wednesday night. The striker yesterday claimed that he would not be leaving the French champions this summer, despite ongoing speculation about his future. “I am staying, why would I not?” said the 27-year-old Uruguay star, who only joined PSG a year ago in a Ligue 1 record deal from Napoli worth 64m euros. “I am very happy in Paris and I have a contract with PSG to respect,” added Cavani, who was speaking in Beijing, where his club are due to face Guingamp tomorrow. “I feel good here. But as I have already said, it does not only depend on the position of the player but also on certain things that can happen inside a club.”
