FIA award for Qatar’s Nasser

Nasser bin Khalifa Al Attiyah (left), FIA Vice-President Sport and FIA representative of Middle East Sport presented a FIA award to Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah for winning the 2013 Middle East Rally Championship at Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) yesterday.

Doha:  Qatar’s ace rally driver and  2012 Olympic Games bronze medal winner in shooting Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah has  been conferred a FIA award, the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) said here yesterday.

Nasser bin Khalifa Al Attiyah, FIA Vice-President Sport and FIA representative of Middle East Sport presented the FIA award to Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah for winning the 2013 Middle East Rally Championship. 

The event took place yesterday at QMMF Headquarters.

Nasser Khalifa, FIA Vice President Sport (Middle East and North Africa) expressed his delight in Nasser winning the award.  

“I strongly recommend Nasser to continue to be a member of FIA Drivers Commission (Off Road representative) to implement and support the youth for safety program, education for roads and teach the youth for having responsibility for their surrounding ‘environmental”  stated Nasser, who is also the QMMF president.

The rally driver, Nasser, thanked Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah for his support and guidance to him in every race he is competing. Nasser Saleh also thanked Jean Todt, FIA President for his support and believed in his ability and be part of the FIA Drivers Commission.
