QSL leaders Lekhwiya hammer Muaither 5-0

DOHA: Youssef Msakni fired two goals while Dame Traore, Sebastian Soria and Nam Tae-Hee added one each to power points leaders Lekhwiya to a convincing 5-0 win over Muaither yesterday. 
The three points helped Lekhwiya to gallop ahead in the Qatar Stars League (QSL) point race with a tally of 40 points from  19 matches. 
In other matches yesterday, second-placed Eljaish crushed hosts Al Wakra 4-1 to keep title hopes alive. 
Brazilian forward Nilmar scored two goals (10 and 23) while  Jeddo (37) and Jires Kembo Ekoko (54) powered Eljaish to an easy win at Al Wakra Stadium where Wisam Rizq scored the only goal for the home side in the 19th minute.
In another match, Al Khor drew 3-3 with Al Arabi at Al Khor Stadium. 
In the last match of the day, hosts Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan played a 1-1 draw.  
Today, defending champions Al Sadd will visit Qatar Sports Club, Al Sailiyah will play Al Kharaitiyat while Al Ahli, the surprise package this season, take on Umm Salal at Qatar Sports Club Stadium.
