Qatar’s Ogunode wins bronze in 60m

Richard Kilty (right) of Britain runs to win next to Nesta Carter of Jamaica and Femi Ogunode (left) of Qatar during the men’s 60 metres final at the World Indoor Athletics championships at the ERGO Arena in Sopot, yesterday.  Kilty, only racing as a replacement for injured team-mate James Dasaolu, was a shock winner of the men’s 60m gold. Marvin Bracy took silver in 6.51sec. Ogunode claimed bronze (6.52) in a photo-finish with China’s Bingtian Su and Zambia’s Gerald Phiri.
