The Mohammad Hamad Al Attiya’s trainee was ridden to victory by jockey Marvin Suerland in Umm Al Houl Cup. With this, Suerland completed a double success. Earlier, he had taken Chewdeh to victory. The 1,200-metre contest for Thoroughbreds (horses rated 50 to 70) ended with Poyle Judy edging the front running Mallak to win in a time of one minute and 13.72 seconds. Mallak was further pushed to third by Yes We Can Dream. The eight-race day saw trainer Jassim Al Ghazali and jockey Yanis Auoabed combination taste a double. Auoabed rode Al Ghazali’s Zajil Athba and Ghalaa to victories.
