Manama: Qatar’s Brazilian head coach Paulo Autuori believes today’s match against Bahrain will be difficult for the two sides.
The two sides face off in the 21st Gulf Cup’s final game of the group stage, which decides which team will qualify for the semi-finals.
Group leaders UAE have already qualified for the last four stage leaving the rest of the teams to vie for the second spot.
A draw will suffice for the Maroon, who sit second in their group with four points behind leaders UAE, but Autuori urged his players to play for a win and show the same enthusiasm and spirit as they did in the 2-1 win over Oman.
Bahrain which is hosting the tournament from January 5 to 18, have failed to record a win so far, drawing the opening game against Oman and losing the second to UAE. QNA
