Banks closed on Sunday

DOHA: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced that Sunday, March 3, 2013 will be a holiday for all banks and financial institutions under the control of QCB. A press release issued by the Central Bank said the closure is pursuant to the Council of Ministers Decision of 2009 that stipulated that the first Sunday of March each year shall be an official holiday for all banks in Qatar.
