DOHA: Some of the most magnificent diamonds and precious gems in the world will be on display for the first time at the 10th annual Doha Jewellery and Watch Exhibition, which will open tomorrow.
The Mouawad which has penetrated continents across the world will be unveiling the ‘Mouawad Masterpiece Suites’. It will be showcasing some of its gems and diamonds for the first time at the exhibition according to its Facebook page.
It has also published pictures of some fine jewellery as remarkable testaments to the mastery of Mouawad’s artisans.
Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) earlier announced that Mouawad will unveil one of the world’s biggest diamonds at the exhibition.
The exhibition is being held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani at the Doha International Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition will be hosting 26 exhibitors representing 500 best known jewellery and watche labels. It will also have new participants like Christie’s from London and Matis Jewellery, who are aiming to establish their business in Qatar. The exhibition will see a 15 percent increase in participation of international brands.
Qatari exhibitors will include well-known names like Al Fardan Jewellery Company, Ghadah Jewellery / Al Manara Trading, Ali Bin Ali group, Al Majed Jewellery, Blue Saloon, Al Muftah Jewellery, Amiri Gems, Fifty One East, Al Jaber watches, Pari Gallery, Marzooq Al Shamlan & Sons, Al Majed Pearls / Dar Al Majid Jewellery, Royal Jewellery (Al Malakia), Bulgari Jewellery, Al Makki Jewellery & Watches, Al Mawali Jewellery, Matis Jewellery, Versailles Jewellery, Wazni Jewellery, Doha Marketing Services Co ( Domasco ) and Safana Jewellery.
The seven-day international exhibition will open doors for the public on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12 noon to 10pm.
On Friday, it will be open between 4pm and 10 pm and on Saturday and Sunday, public can visit the exhibition from 12 noon to 10pm.
