DOHA: A 30-year-old Indian expatriate died of a cardiac arrest yesterday, hours after he returned from vacation.
The deceased, Noushad Madakandy (pictured), had been a resident of Qatar for the past six years and was working with Mawashi. He hailed from Karayad in Calicut district of Kerala.
According to community sources, Noushad landed in Doha at around 4pm yesterday after spending his vacation back home. At around 11pm he developed severe chest pain and was rushed to the Hamad General Hospital. He died after midnight following a heart attack.
He had health problems previously and had undergone treatment while on vacation, said the sources. The deceased leaves behind wife and a male child. The body was flown to Kerala last night. The Peninsula
