Audit firm under probe over graft

Doha: The Attorney-General H E Ali bin Fetais Al Marri has ordered an investigation into one of the biggest audit firms operating in the country.

The Public Prosecution said yesterday that the order followed investigations being conducted by the prosecution of public funds into a report of suspicious behaviour by the firm related to public funds.

The firm is suspected to have carried out operations that violated accounting rules and principles.
