
Doha: Heights Exhibition and Conference Company will hold the International Pools and Spas Exhibition from September 26 to 28 at the Doha International Exhibition Center under the sponsorship of Balhasa Enterprises.
Walid Wehbe, CEO of Heights Exhibition and Conference Company said that the preparations and fittings of the International Pools and Spas Exhibition are almost completed, noting that they want this first exhibition of its kind in Qatar to be at the highest level.
Wehbe explained that the exhibition functions will include specialised spa training courses under the patronage of the International Beauty Academy.
A number of experts will be offering intensive training courses for three days to all who are involved or interested in the field of beauty, as well as beauty centres and their staff.
Internationally accredited certificates will be given at the end of the third day of the exhibition, in the presence of the general manager of the International Beauty Center.
As to those involved in the operation, construction, and installation of swimming pools and spas, Wehbe said that a workshop and a specialised training courses will be organised to impart knowledge on latest methods of pool management, water testing, treatment, filtering, and maintenance, in addition to modern operation methods that reduce the cost of maintenance and help operate pools according to international standards.
He said that Dr Greg Kilsoy, who is internationally accredited by the International Swimming Pool and Spa Academy, will be lecturing in this course. Five-year accreditation certificates will be handed to the participants of this course.
The first day of the exhibition will have a lecture by Dr Carl Hassler of Milocorp International on the latest methods to remove lime scale from swimming pools, from 7pm to 8pm at Hall 1.
There will also be a lecture by Dr Iman Amna, who is specialised in the field of light therapy, on allied light at Hall 2 from 5pm to 6pm and later Samer Al Oraiji will talk about the benefits of using Dead Sea products, from 7pm to 8pm. The second day of the exhibition will have a lecture by Dr Badr Hassoun, the international beauty expert, about skin care and herbal therapy, from 7pm to 8pm at Hall 2.
