Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani exchanged telephone greetings with leaders of a number of Arab and Islamic countries on Eid Al Fitr.

The Emir exchanged greetings with Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir, King Mohamed VI of Morocco, Lebanese President Gen Michel Suleiman, Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and Turkish President Abdullah Gul.

The Emir also received a cable of congratulations from the Speaker of the Advisory Council, Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Kholaifi on Eid.

The Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in telephone calls received yesterday, exchanged greetings on Eid Al Fitr with the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
