Dr Rabia bin Sabah
The BBC Arabic service has been seeking to sow discord and create problems between Arab governments and the people since its foundation. This “dirty” policy always reminds us of “divide and rule” that was invented by “colonialism” to dominate vulnerable people during the last few centuries. This stinking colonial policy served “Great Britain” for some time!
One incident that I still recall about the BBC Arabic radio service was that they contacted me years ago to talk on a specific topic and when the broadcast began they changed the subject to something that had nothing to do with the agreed-upon subject.
I then understood the game, which aimed at applying the policy of “excitement” and “media fabrication” and sow discord among Arabs in general and the Gulf people in particular. Since then I avoid talking on any of the BBC’s programmes.
It is clear that granting the State of Qatar the right to host the 2022 World Cup was a blow to Britain because it was aspiring to win this global honour, but failed miserably. This made it jealous; therefore, it harnessed all the British media to discredit Qatar in order to take away this honour.
The BBC was one of the first stations that has sought to achieve this goal by broadcasting some false and fabricated rumours about “migrant workers and their miserable livelihoods in Qatar” by reporting and displaying the ugliest made-up images.
The British media is known for this ugly stereotyping through its dark history of abusing the Arab countries and peoples!
Finally, attempting to defame Qatar through a fabricated story that was reported by BBC television in different conflicting versions revealed to the whole world the low morals of BBC, which made-up a crisis revealing its dirty goals and intentions through the politicised British media game!
