DOHA: Members of Ooredoo’s Nojoom Loyalty Programme raised QR114,000 for charities during Ramadan.

Nojoom offered members the chance to share the Ramadan spirit by donating points to Qatar Charity or Sheikh Eid Bin Mohammad Al Thani Charitable Association (Eid Charity). The points will be used throughout the year by the charities.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director, Community & Public Relations, said: “We are delighted that this year’s Ramadan campaign has had such a positive response. Ramadan is about taking part in the spirit of the holy month and we couldn’t have asked for a better response. Together, we’ve given back to the community, and helped two charities to continue the work they do.”

Throughout Ramadan, the group of friends, Alrabaa, visited hospitals, appeared at malls, and took part in random acts of kindness and events for charities.

The group who brings Qatari values to life, also gave away over 12,200 presents to families during Ramadan and sweet treats during Garangao at Souq Waqif.

Ooredoo has pledged to continue to support customers throughout the year, with CSR initiatives to enrich people’s lives.

Customers can see more results from the Ooredoo Ramadan campaign and learn about upcoming events at www.ooredoo.qa and Ooredoo’s Facebook page.
