Doha: An agreement has been signed to develop smartphone application for the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to be held on April 12-19 in Doha.
It was signed on Tuesday between UN Congress Organising Committee and White Creations Company, represented by Col. Abdul Rahman Al Maliki, Assistant Director, General Directorate of Information System, and Muhammaed, Development Manager of the company.
The application aims at simplifying services for conference participants and will be available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
Col. Al Maliki said the application would include data on events, lecturers, schedules, venues and events associated with the conference, and maps of places that hold events and hotels. It will also contain a special section on the media and journalists so that they can drop through it pictures and videos and other information about the congress easily. It will be available soon in android and other devices. The Peninsula
