Doha: Ooredoo and Qatar Charity (QC)yesterday announced a partnership to enable donations to the charity via Ooredoo’s nationwide Self-Service Machines (SSMs) network.

With over 200 SSMs across the country, donations can be made by cash or credit/debit card during Ramadan and beyond.

Donations can be made towards initiatives supporting education, health, social welfare, emergency and relief, and other projects.

“The exciting thing about the service is that you can choose where you want to donate your money, making it more interactive. We are proud to support QC with the amazing work they do in Qatar and the region and urge customers to donate during the holy month,” said Mohammed Saleh H Al Marri, Chief Sales and Service Officer, Ooredoo.

“The ease of use of SSMs means that donating will be easier than before. With several causes in need of funds and attention, we are delighted to be associated with Ooredoo and together aim to bring about positive social change,” said Jassim Ibrahim Almansouri, Marketing Manager, QC.

The initiative is part of community and charity events hosted by Ooredoo throughout Ramadan this year.
