DOHA: Qatar received the highest rainfall in 2011 (nearly 70mm), according to data released by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics for 2010-2013.
The highest rainfall was in November 2011 at 33.5mm, followed by 29.1mm in January the same year.
The highest rainfall last year was also in November at 24.1mm, followed by 14.4mm in May. The highest rain recorded in 2010 was 11.6mm in March followed by 9mm in April.
December saw the highest rainfall in 2012 at 18.3mm, followed by 4mm in March.
The highest average temperature during summer — June, July, August — over the four years varied from 39 degrees Celsius to 43.3.
