Indian schools excel in CBSE XII results

DOHA: Students of Indian schools fared well in the CBSE Class XII examinations held in March this year. The results were announced in New Delhi yesterday. All the schools claimed cent percent pass in the examinations.

Birla Public School
A total of 121 students appeared for the Class XII Board Examination. 33 students passed with score of 90 percent and above. 76.9 percent scored above 75 percent. The first three toppers in science stream are: Vrinda Shenoy (96.40 percent), Joe Toms Panikulam     (95.40 percent), Pallichadayath Harisankar Nair (95.20 percent). Toppers IN Commerce Stream are: Hiba Nasreen    (95.80 percent), Ankita Rajendra Gaddam (92.20 percent), Mohammed Younus(92 percent).

 MES Indian School
 All the 504 students, 228 boys and 276 girls, who sat for the examination passed , with 10 of them securing A1 in all subjects. 53 students, 43 in science stream and 10 in commerce stream, secured above 90 percent marks. 
Amal Fathima Sameer and Moshammet Manzia Noor emerged toppers with an aggregate of 482 (96.4 percent) marks, closely followed by J M Soorya Narayan with 481 (96.2 percent) marks and Suhail Subair with 479 (95.8 percent) marks.
In the Commerce Stream, Shanen D’Souza secured the first position in the school with 96 percent (480) marks. Christina Devakirubai & Moosa Ibtesaam M Afroz secured the second position with 95.2 percent (476) followed by Mohammed Muhzin with 94.8 percent (474) marks. 

Ideal Indian School
111 students out of 205 who appeared for the examination got 75 percent and above and 95 percent have secured 60 percent and above. Toppers in Commerce Stream: Lakshmi Ajay Nair (97.4 percent), Aishwarya Rao (94.6 percent), Nadia Ahmed (94.4 percent) Toppers in Science Stream: Asiya Thakur (94.8 percent), Anupama Sreedharan (94.2 percent), Anagha Chellath (93.8 percent)

95 students have passed with 75 percent and above and 44 students have secured an aggregate of 90 percent or above. 
Science Stream Toppers: Vatsal Vimal Patel (98.2 percent), Nirali M Shah    (96.8 percent), Sheran Rashel Cardoza (96.2 percent). Commerce Stream Toppers: Shanice Fernandes (94.6 percent), Tanya Gupta    (93.8    percent) Rebecca Elizabeth Kurien (92 percent).

Shantiniketan Indian School
Amanda Mendes topped Commerce Stream with 93 percent marks. She has also topped in English (95 percent) Mathematics (95 percent) Economics (95 percent), Business Studies (94 percent). Nabeela Basheer topped in Science Stream with 91 percent. She is also the subject topper of Mathematics (95 percent) and Chemistry (92 percent).
50 percent students in the Commerce Stream scored above 80 percent of marks. All students in the Science and Commerce streams scored above 60 percent marks in aggregate.

Doha Modern Indian School 
Suzaan Shajil topped the science stream with 92.8 percent marks. Shreya Elizabeth Jacob topped the commerce stream with 92.8 percent. Sixty percent of the students who appeared for the exam scored 80 percent and above The Peninsula
