Doha: Resolution Productions of Qatar has been recognised for the second consecutive year at New York Festival World Film & TV Awards.
It was awarded a silver medal in the public relations category for its film The Secrets of my Success created and produced on behalf of RasGas Qatar.
Hailed as the “Oscars” of the industry, the award is the highest honour a film production company can win. The jury comprises some of the world’s leading TV and film executives, including representatives from the BBC, ESPN, CBS, Al Jazeera, CNN, Disney and ABC. More than 1,000 entries were received from over 50 countries, representing all five continents.
This is the second award for the Doha-based company. It also won the Black Dolphin Award at the 2013 and 2014 Cannes Corporate Film & TV Awards.
Aela Callan of Al Jazeera English’s 101 East programme hosted the event and took home an award.
