Doha: Commercial Bank yesterday announced the launch of its first self-service card kiosk which allows customers to get their debit or credit cards produced, delivered and activated, instantly, at the touch of a button.
“The kiosk is part of our strategy to implement technology-based initiatives that make banking simple and effortless for all our valued customers.
“This is yet another customer-centric initiative introduced by the bank in Qatar,” said Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi, CEO.
“Commercial Bank has always used technology to make banking more convenient and easily accessible through alternative channels, including ATMs, the Internet, mobile and phone banking to name a few,” Al Raise added.
“Our continuous adoption of innovative technologies in Qatar, such as the kiosk, demonstrates our commitment to improve and develop our proposition to meet our customers’ preferred way of banking,” he said.
Customers can use the kiosk at Commercial Bank’s D Ring Road branch collection centre, which is open Sunday-Thursday from 7.30am to 4pm.
The bank said cards will be ready to use instantly, so there will no longer a need for customers to call the bank to activate their cards.
