Barwa Bank Group honours 18 staff

DOHA: Barwa Bank Group, one of Qatar’s leading Shariah-compliant banking service providers, honoured it 18 best performing employees at the ‘2nd Business Excellence Awards Ceremony’ to recognise their contributions.
“We have come a long way very quickly as a group and in the past year, we made outstanding achievements which resulted in a significant increase in the group’s net income and other financial results.
“This is a clear indication of growth in the domestic market and the leadership of the bank’s team,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman, Barwa Bank.
“The bank was also chosen as Qatar’s fastest growing Shariah-compliant banking service provider and I am proud to retain the title year on year. 
“Tonight (Wednesday, April 2), we honour 18 employees who went the extra mile in contributing to the success of the organisation. They have been awarded for their tremendous efforts in increasing profits, reducing costs, providing outstanding customer value and improving efficiency in many aspects of work.”
Khalid Yousef Al Subeai, Acting Group CEO,  expressed gratitude to the chairman and other members of the board of directors for showing confidence, and appreciated contributions by every member of the organisation. “I have no doubt that we will achieve our group’s vision, (to be regarded as one of the world’s leading Islamic financial services groups) and I’m sure we will add more achievements to the group working together as one team.”
Present were Nasser Mohammed Al Hajri, Head of the Group’s Administrative Services, Wael M Fakhr El Deen, Group Head of Quality and Business Excellence, and other senior members of the bank and guests.
