Deal to boost QOC’s Save the Dream initiative

Doha: International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) has signed a deal with Comité Olímpico de Portugal (COP) in Lisbon to safeguard the integrity of sport, promote the highest standards in terms of safety and security and work together towards child protection and youth development.
Both sides will further work of COP in promoting and safeguarding Olympic values and focusing on youth exchange programmes to empower and educate young people through sport. 
The efforts will be promoted through the Save the Dream programme, a joint initiative of ICSS and Qatar Olympic Committee.
Mohammed Hanzab, ICSS President, said: “The work of COP in promoting sporting values and educating young people goes hand-in-hand with the core values of ICSS. As part of ICSS’ work and commitment to the international sports community, one of the central aims of the Save the Dream programme is to educate young people on the importance of fair competition and integrity in sport. 
José Manuel Constantino, President, COP,  said: “I anticipate that as we work together to promote the highest standards of integrity, safety and security, what will result will be positive initiatives that will benefit players and ultimately, society.”
