Emir meets President Gul, PM Erdogan in Turkey

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met Turkish President Abdullah Gul at the Presidential Palace in Ankara yesterday morning and reviewed cooperation and latest regional developments.
The Emir, accompanied by a high-level delegation, was in Turkey on a working visit. 
On arrival, the Emir was welcomed at Esenboga International Airport by Ankara Governor Aladdin Yuksel, Qatar’s Ambassador, Salem Mubarak Shafi Al Shafi, and Qatari embassy officials.
Later, the Emir flew to Istanbul. 
He was welcomed at Ataturk International Airport by the Minister of Energy, Taner Yildiz, and Istanbul Governor, Huseyin Avni. The Emir met Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discussed relations and the situation in the Middle East, especially developments in Syria. 
The Emir also attended a luncheon hosted by Erdogan in his honour. QNA
