Qatar to attend GCC anti-corruption meet

Doha: The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority will take part in the first meeting of chiefs of anti-corruption agencies in the GCC member states, due to open in Kuwait tomorrow. Qatar’s delegation will be led by the Chairman of the Authority H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah. GCC Secretary-General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani will also attend. The meeting is part of efforts by the GCC governments to unify visions and share experiences to promote integrity and fight corruption. It will discuss cooperation and coordination, consultation and exchange of information and expertise among anti-corruption authorities.

Moldova Deputy PM meets Qatari envoy

Chisinau: Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Natalia Gherman, yesterday met Qatari Ambassador Mohamed Ali Al Malki and reviewed relations.

Tunis: Tunisia’s Minister of Transport Shihab bin Ahmed yesterday met Qatar’s Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al Humaidi and discussed means of developing cooperation in the transportation sector.
