DOHA: The Meteorology Department has forecast strong winds today with chances of more, scattered rains.
Many parts of the country, especially the north, received intermittent rains yesterday, with cloudy weather and an overcast sky over the country for most of the day.
“We are expecting more scattered rains tomorrow, especially in the morning. Strong winds could lash the country by afternoon, leading to high seas. The weather is likely to be cloudy, similar to what has been experienced since this morning,” a forecaster told this daily last evening.
However, the temperature could be up slightly today, hovering between 17 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded yesterday was 15 degrees Celsius and the maximum was 20 degrees Celsius.
The highest temperature today is expected in Doha, between 19 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius, and the lowest in Dukhan, at 15/22 degrees, followed by Abu Samra, at 16/24 degrees.
