Emir graces military graduation

The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani receiving the guard of honour during the graduation ceremony of the ninth batch of cadets of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College at the college field square yesterday.
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has graced the ninth batch of the cadets of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College during the graduation ceremony held at the college field square yesterday.
The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, ministers, army officers and commanders of the military colleges of friendly countries.
The ceremoy began with the recitation of versues from the Holy Quran, then Brigadier Hamad Ahmed Al Nuaimi, the Commander of the Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College delivered an address in which he conveyed deep thanks and gratitude to the Emir for honouring and gracing the graduation ceremony of the 9th batch of the Qatari cadets who will join the armed forces soon.
A batch including 28 cadets will join the Armed Forces, Police, the Internal Security Forces (Lakhwiya), The Emiri Guard and the State Security.
Brigadier Hamad Ahmed Al Nuaimi pointed out that the graduates received bachelor’s degree in different disciplines in addition to the diploma of Military or Police Sciences.
Al Nuaimi conveyed his thanks and gratitude to the Emir for his unlimited support to the college and his directives, constant follow-up and confidence.
The new graduates marched in front of the main podium following which the Emir honoured the outstanding graduates.
The Emir also received at the field square of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College a number of commanders of Gulf, Arab and friendly military colleges .
The commanders called on the Emir on the occasion of their visit to Qatar to attend the graduation ceremony.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also attend the meeting.
