DOHA: Qatar National Bank (QNB) hosted a dinner for more than two dozen customers and followers to provide them with the opportunity to meet visiting Paris Saint Germain (PSG) football superstars, said a press statement yesterday.
As part of the group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, QNB organised the dinner for 25 guests at The Torch Doha Hotel on Monday to celebrate the working partnership between the two international brands.
The PSG stars who attended the dinner were Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Salvatore Sirigu, Christophe Jallet, Gregory Van Der Wiel and Zoumana Camara.
They met guests, had photographs taken with them and handed out Club Merchandise to lucky attendees.
Yousef Darwish, General Manager, Communications, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our successful sponsorship relationship with PSG in such a positive manner. “The exclusive opportunities provided for our customers, social media followers and employees to engage with the players have been very well received and appreciated by all concerned,” Darwish added.
QNB also selected 50 employees from all areas of the group for a PSG training session on Monday at The Aspire Zone.
They watched the players go through their routines, had their photographs taken with the stars and received a range of Club Merchandise as souvenirs.
PSG players are in Qatar as part of a four-day training camp which will culminate in a match against Spanish Club Real Madrid tomorrow.
QNB is always looking for innovative ways to reward its customers and this initiative comes as an extension of its interest in sports, particularly football.
