DOHA: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) registered over 120 people during the eighth Sponsorship and Internship Career Forum at Qatar University’s College of Business and Economics.
The event connected students with some of Qatar’s top companies, fostering discussions on sponsorship and internship opportunities.
“The forum was an important platform that connected Qatari students, job-seekers and employers. During the four-day event HMC recorded over 120 contacts; we are following up on the applicants,” said Fatima Haider, HMC’s Human Resources Executive Director.
HMC offered students with the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice about sponsorship, internship, training and future employment opportunities with HMC. “At HMC there are many areas of specialisations on offer for job-seekers. Employment at HMC provides young graduates with a secure future and valuable work experience and helps them make an important contribution to building their country’s future,” added Haider.
HMC also piloted a new evaluation scheme, asking students who visited its booth to complete a short written questionnaire on how they view HMC and what motivates their career choices.
Students who completed the questionnaire were invited to enter a draw to win one of two prize packages. The winners received their prize at HMC’s Human Resources offices earlier this month. The Peninsula
