DOHA: Doha International Airport (DIA) distributed gifts and memorabilia to passengers to mark the National Day.

The Minister of Transport H E Jassem Saif Al Sulaiti and Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker toured the arrivals terminal to view the festivities.

During the celebrations held from December 16 to 18, DIA employees distributed hennah, Arabic coffee and traditional food packed in special boxes to passengers in transit, departures, and arrivals terminals.

At the immigration clearance at the arrivals terminal, passengers received presents that reflected the nobility and pride of the National Day.

Qatari flags were the main theme at the terminal, and passengers expressed joy over the gestures.

“Our activities today are only an expression of gratitude towards our country, community, and everyone who has contributed to the prosperity of this nation,” he added.
