DOHA: Microsoft featured the latest Windows 8 devices and applications and introduced the next generation of cloud productivity technology products and services to Qatar yesterday.
Office 2013, Office 365, Windows Server 2012 and other Cloud productivity solutions were introduced at the event as part of Microsoft’s ‘Celebrate Windows 8’ events being held in several markets across the GCC.
The one-day event brings together over 20 speakers from Microsoft and partners who address IT professionals and members of business community.
“This is an opportunity for IT professionals and business community leaders in Qatar to experience the latest technology we offer at Microsoft. We provide the forum to the local IT and business community to learn and explore current and upcoming technology tools, platforms and services,” Naim Yazbeck, Microsoft Qatar Country Manager, said.
Celebrate Windows 8 in Qatar is one of five experiential technology showcases taking place in the Gulf. Regional sponsors for Celebrate Windows 8 in the Gulf are Nokia and HP. Local partners include ICT, EBL,ITWorx and Mannai Corporation.
