DOHA: Aster Medical Centre will open its sixth and largest clinic in Qatar on the C-Ring road tomorrow.
Aster is a division of the DM Healthcare, a leading private healthcare provider in India and the Middle East.
The launch of the new centre marks the completion of Aster’s 10 years of service in Qatar, officials said yesterday. The clinic is located on the C Ring Road, near the Ministry of Labour adjacent to GridCo 3 building.
The centre has an attached pharmacy and full-fledged diagnostic centre offering a comprehensive range of services under one roof.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Dr Azad Moopen, Chairman, DM Healthcare; Dr Sameer Moopen, CEO, DM Healthcare – Qatar, Dr Nazar Moopen, Medical Director and Chief of Medical Staff, DM Healthcare - Qatar, and other senior officials of DM Healthcare.
“The core of our endeavour will always be to provide quality healthcare for all at affordable cost,” said Sameer Moppan, addressing a press conference yesterday.
The new facility will provide services including general medicine, ENT, orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, dentistry and physiotherapy.
The clinic will function from 7am to 10pm throughout the week. Specialist doctors will be available between 7.30am to 1pm and 3.30pm to l0pm.
With the launch of the new facility, DM Healthcare now operates six medical centres, six pharmacies and two diagnostic centres in various parts of the country.
The Aster medical centres and pharmacies are located at Musherib, C Ring road, AI Hilal, AI Rayyan, AI Khor and Industrial area.
