Islamabad: Unknown militants yesterday morning attacked a police station in northwestern Pakistan, police sources said, adding that security forces managed to foil the plot.
More than ten militants were involved in the attack and launched a rocket at the building, police said.
An Afghani living in a tent located near from the scene was killed in the fire exchange.
Taliban militants have previously launched successful attacks on police stations in Pakistan and managed to break out prisoners, meaning that yesterday’s assault could be one of them. Agencies
