Rebel attacks kills six soldiers in Afghanistan

KABUL: Six soldiers from the Afghan army have been killed in two separate incidents during the past 48 hours, a defence ministry official said today.

The soldiers were killed in two separate incidents when their vehicles passed over explosive devices planted on the side of the roads, according to a local media report that quoted Afghanistan Defence Ministry spokesman Zahir Azimi.

No armed group, including Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident. (QNA)
