Eighteen gunmen killed in Pakistan security operation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces on Tuesday killed 18militants in its security operation northwest the country.

Military sources said that security forces attacked militants hideouts in Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where they killed 18 gunmen and destroyed 12 hideouts.

The Pakistani security forces launched in June a military operation called 'Zarb-e-Azb' against the Taliban militants. (QNA)
