KABUL: At least two people were killed following an explosion in capital Kabul early Tuesday.
The explosion took place in in the 12th police district of Kabul city around 7:00 pm local time, according to (Khaama Press).
Security officials said the blast targeted a vehicle of the presidential palace employees, leaving two of them dead and five others injured.
Kabul police chief Gen. Zahir Zahir, confirmed that the two civilians killed in the blast were working in presidential palace.
Taliban group spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility behind the incident and said several employees of ARG palace were killed or injured following the blast.
This comes as at least five people including policemen and civilians were injured following an explosion on Monday evening. (QNA)
