DOHA: The Advisory Council held on Monday its regular weekly session at the White Palace premises under the chairmanship of its Speaker HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read the agenda which was then agreed upon.
Then the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
Later the Advisory Council discussed a draft law amending some provisions of the law No./13/ of 2000 regulating the investment of the non-qatari capital in economic activities and decided to refer its relevant recommendations to the cabinet.
The council then discussed the following reports:
- A report of the the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a draft law amending some provisions of the law No./25/ of 2005 concerning trade register.
- A report of the legal and legislative affairs committee on a draft law concerning the issue of a litigation proceeding law in family affairs.
- A report of the Services And Public Utilities Committee on a draft law on 'tumbuk' village.
- A report of the Services And Public Utilities Committee on content of debates raised by some council members on the overall urban plan of the state of Qatar at the the council session held on June 2, 2014.
The council decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the cabinet later on. (QNA)
