Pakistani paramilitary forces kill two gunmen in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani paramilitary forces today killed two gunmen in a raid in the city of Karachi, capital of Sindh province in southern Pakistan. 

The spokesman said troops launched the operation in the area of Mangopir in Karachi and managed to kill two militants and wounded several others, adding that a local leader belonging to a banned group was also among the dead. 

In a related development, unidentified gunmen killed a lawyer, who served as head of a government institution as well, after shooting him in the city of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, southwest of the country.  (QNA)
