MILAN: AC Milan appointed former Italy striker Filippo Inzaghi as coach to replace Clarence Seedorf, the club said Monday.
Inzaghi was a former player at AC Milan. The 40 year-old signed a two-year contract with the club. Before getting the first team job, Inzaghi was coaching the club's youngsters.
He took over the reins from another former AC Milan player Clarence Seedorf. The latter took over the task midway through last season in a transitional period. He did not succeed in guiding the team to a higher finish than eighth. (QNA)
