Emir meets outgoing Panamanian ambassador

DOHA: HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at his Emiri Diwan office on Wednesday with HE Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Qatar Javier Arias Iriarte, on the occasion of the expiry of his tour of duty in the country.


HH the Emir wished the Ambassador success in his future assignments and the relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Panama further progress and prosperity.

For his part, the Panamanian Ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude to HH the Emir and the officials in the state for the cooperation accorded to him during his tenure. 


Emir receives credentials of new ambassadors

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received credentials of four new ambassadors to Qatar during an audience with them at his Emiri Diwan Office Wednesday morning.


HH the Emir received the credentials of each of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors Ewa Ulrika Polano of the Kingdom of Sweden, Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu of the Republic of Uganda, Martin Vitek of the Czech Republic and Andre Pung of the Republic of Estonia.


The Ambassadors conveyed to HH the Emir greetings of their respective leaders and their best wishes for progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.


For his part, HH the Emir welcomed the new Ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions and relations between the State of Qatar and their respective states further development and growth.


The Ambassadors arrived at the Emiri Diwan before presenting their credentials where they were accorded an official reception ceremony. (QNA)
