Lebanese ambassador to S. Korea killed in car accident

SEOUL: Lebanese Ambassador to South Korea Jad El-Hassan died in a car accident in central Seoul on Thursday, police and fire officials said. 

According to the Yongsan Police Station, a car carrying three people, including the ambassador, rear-ended another car inside Namsan No. 3 Tunnel, (Yonhap) news agency reported.

The ambassador died while being taken to a nearby hospital, while two people in the other vehicle were injured, they said.
Police said they were investigating the exact cause of the accident. (QNA)
