DOHA: The State of Qatar is set to take part in the International Transport Forum, which will take place in Leipzig, Germany, on 21 May with the participation of ministers of transport from around the world, senior officials, representatives of government sectors, business leaders and international organizations and academic and media agencies.
HE Saif Ahmed Jassim Al Sulaiti, the Transport Minister will lead Qatar's delegation to the three-day forum.
During the forum, participants will discuss a number of topics related to the transportation's industry according to the environmental rules, health regulations and international safety .
The forum aims to alleviate congestion and improve the health of the individual by working to reduce the intensity of energy use and emissions of carbon dioxide in the transport mechanism and work to strengthen new technology practices in the different transport sectors.(QNA)
