Seven people killed in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: At least seven people were killed and six others wounded on Friday when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a vehicle in Peshawar, police said.

The dead included two brothers, a sister, her nine-year-old son and three cousins, police said.

Five other members of the family were wounded and taken for medical treatment at a local hospital, according to Dawn news.

Police personnel and rescue teams immediately reached the site of the incident and began shifting the victims to a nearby hospital. (QNA)
