DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Thursday adding 22.18 points or 0.18 percent to advance to 12,397.21 points from 12,375.03 on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 39,124,982 from 43,186,045 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR1,429,441,242.59 from QR1,531,115,605.13 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were International Islamic Bank which was up 6.64 percent to QR83.50, General Insurance gained 4.86 percent to QR41.00, National Leasing added 8.05 percent to QR32.90 and Mazaya Qatar up by 5.62 percent to QR22.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.90 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 1.05 points.
The industrial sector was rose 0.34 points while insurance sector gained 1.98 points.(QNA)
