Thirty-seven people killed, wounded in series of car bombs in Baghdad

BAGHDAD: Thirty seven people were killed and wounded in a series of car bomb explosions in Baghdad on Wednesday. 

A police source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a civilian was killed and 6 others were injured when a car bomb went off in Sadr City, while another 10 people were wounded when a car bomb went off near a traffic police department in Kazimiyah in northern Baghdad." 

He added that a car bomb exploded in Shamma'iya area east of Baghdad, killing one and wounding eight others, and another civilian was killed and 10 people wounded when a car bomb went off in Shaab district northeast of Baghdad. (QNA)
