BAGHDAD: Four civilians were killed and three others wounded on Monday when a car bomb, driven by a suicide bomber, went off in Iraq's Mosul.
A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a car bomb, driven by a suicide bomber, targeted the headquarters of an army unit in the Arijiah area east of Mosul, killing four civilians and wounding three others.
A policeman was also killed today in an armed attack in the Meshahda area north of Baghdad.
A security source told NINA that gunmen attacked the policeman, with their machine guns, in front of his home in the Meshahda area, north of Baghdad, killing him on the spot.
On the other hand, Joint Operations Command announced that armed elements, in two vehicles, killed in Fallujah.
The command said in a statement today that the eighth Army Division in Anbar struck a gathering of militants belonging to Daash terrorist organization and burned two vehicles, which were loaded with criminal elements in Amiriya district of the city of Fallujah. (QNA)
