MUSCAT: Qatar Petroleum (QP) is showcasing it operations and projects at the Ninth Oil and Gas West Asia Exhibition and Conference (OGWA 2014) currently in progress at Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
The conference which started March 31 concludes tomorrow. More than 300 oil and gas companies from over 30 countries worldwide are participating in OGWA 2014 organized by Omanexpo LLC.
Oman's Minister Commerce and Industry Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidi opened the conference held under the auspices of Oman's Ministry of Oil and Gas.
A number of senior officials accompanied him, QP said today.
Members of the QP delegation welcomed Dr. Al-Sunaidi at the QP pavilion.
They briefed him on QP's ongoing operations and future projects.
QP is a major exhibitor at OGWA 2014 together with its subsidiary Qatar Petroleum Company (QAPCO), and the QP stand has attracted a large number of delegates and visitors, many of whom have inquired about the new projects and operations, QP said.
The event gives QP the opportunity to introduce its operations to industry professionals, the Qatari company said. (QNA)
